Draper Temple

Usually I use this blog to share the small, trivial things in our lives, such as swinging, turning another month older, and such. However, I have to share an amazing, spiritual experience I recently had.

I had the opportunity to sing in a choir for the Draper temple dedication. It was very humbling to sing with so many talented people. Even our rehearsals were filled with the Spirit. We sang at the Saturday afternoon session. I stood an arm's length away from President Monson in the Celestial Room. I could've reached out and touched him if I'd wanted to. Words can't describe or give justice to the Spirit and feelings of being in the Celestial Room and singing those beautiful hymns and praises. It was truly an experience that strengthened my testimony of temples and music forever. How blessed we are to have another beautiful temple so close to us!!!

A few of the ladies I sang with in the choir: Karen Hilton, Deborah Nielsen, me, and Janalyn Schab.

What a neat experience. It's nice to be able to jump on opportunities like that. They are well worth it. That's awesome!

How cool, Wendy. Did I tell you that after you dropped me off with my husband I ran into Trisha and her little boy? I told her next time we went to visit, we would call her. E-mail me so that I can add you to my blog. heehee143@hotmail.com Happy Easter!
