The day after we (meaning Brent and his dad) got it set up, it rained/snowed for a few days. Kirstie sat inside, longingly looking out the window. Luckily the weather cleared up and we've had a lot of fun with it.
It only took Kirstie a few minutes to figure out how to climb up the slide, rather than the ladder, (partially in thanks to our neighbor's dog who sits at the fence and barks at us, which scares her.) Her favorite way to go down is on her tummy, head first.

YEAH for swingsets! We got one last summer and it was my saving grace! I swear there are days that my kids dont want to come in to eat or use the bathroom!
Oh aren't swingsets the BEST! I LOVE it that yours has 3 swings. Ours only has two and more often than not, we have friends and cousins over and there are fights about it. Sigh.
Slides are so much fun!
Aiden used to call it a WHEEEE too! and the swings too actually! such a fun age! we have been talking about getting one too! it would be nice to have our own private "park". I hope you guys enjoy it!
Fun! Swingsets rock! We'll have to come try your's out sometime! :)
That first picture where Brent is looking for something in the grass cracks me up for some reason. I hope he wasn't looking for the screw that holds the slide together!
Micah, funny enough, it was a bolt or something for the slide. he never found, but don't worry-- he bought a new one!
