The Lights at Temple Square

Over the weekend we went to Temple Square with my family. (Thanks for staying behind with Ian, mom!) This was Kirstie's first time seeing the lights there and she LOVED it! She hasn't stopped talking about it since.

It had been raining all day, but luckily stopped long enough for us to walk around.
Here is Paige, Brent, Kirstie, Wendy and Melissa.

Kirstie absolutely loves the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, so we took her in to see the Tabernacle. We walked in and she just looked at it and said "Ooooo!" She was so excited to see where the "big choir" (as she calls it) sings. I think it was the highlight of the night for her.

It was a late night and we thought she'd fall asleep on the way home. Nope. Instead she tried on my gloves and sang Christmas songs the whole way. She also kept asking to see the temple. Lucky for us we saw a couple more on our way home!

The next morning during breakfast I asked her what she wanted to do that day. "Uhhh, temple square and lights!"

How fun! We're about to go see the lights this Saturday. We didn't go last year, so here's hoping the weather cooperates for us too! Such a cute family!
