Free Zoo Day!

Last Wednesday we joined every other mother, child, and stroller along the Wasatch Front at Hogle Zoo for their free day. Actually, aside from the parking lot, the crowds weren't really that bad! And despite the cold, we still had fun!

My sister came with us too! Thanks Melissa! She gave Kirstie coins to throw in the waterfall outside the zoo entrance-- one of Kirstie's favorite things of the day.

This was Ian's first trip to the zoo. He spent half of it asleep, all nice and warm in the stroller! Once awake, he loved being in the carrier-sling-thingy and seeing what was going on.

Kirstie couldn't get enough of the giraffes. She thought it was hilarious that they were licking the walls and doors. She's still talking about it!

The gorillas and monkeys are always a favorite. We were there just in time for feeding time for one set of monkeys!

How funny! My sis and I were there, too. We were in and out by 12, though. I was going to get a zoo pass again this year, then noticed they're doing so much work to the zoo and took out so many animals that it would be pointless. So sad. BUT so glad you guys had fun!!!
