At the end of June we went on our annual vacation up at Solitude with Brent's extended family. Despite the snow on the ground and lots of mud, it was beautiful weather and we had a great time. Here are a few highlights:
We went swimming-- a lot! Last year Kirstie hated the pool. This year she was going down the slide by herself-- head first! What a difference a year makes!
Ian loved splashing in the water-- he's our little fish. He wasn't too sure about the slide though.
Kirstie and Payton-- our two little trouble makers!
We were a little hesitant to walk on the snow-- it's melting so fast that we weren't positive that it would hold us!

We took lots of walks and enjoyed being in the mountains. We even saw a deer. (Yes, Jeanine came on vacation too, of course. Kirstie can't ever leave her at home.)

Ian found that the coolers were the perfect height to pull himself up to and stand, so he was content!
This year's theme was a birthday party theme. We played some fun party games!
