The other day I was telling a friend that I don't like our fireplace downstairs because the kids could get hurt on it. Then yesterday it happened. Ian fell and cut his head on the fireplace. We're lucky to have a brother-in-law who's a nurse, so we went over to his house so he could take a look. Thankfully, he was able to fix it there himself, saving us a trip to the ER and stitches.
