Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!
Tonight we decorated our Christmas tree! Kirstie loved every moment of it. She was mesmerized by all the colored lights and took great care in putting each ornament on the tree. She gasped with excitement as we opened each box revealed the decorations hidden inside. She's really getting into Christmas this year and I love it!
For some reason she wanted to hold this snowman who is upside down in an ornament container.
When we were done decorating, we pulled out our numerous Christmas books. Her favorite is a recordable Night Before Christmas book that Grandma and Grandpa Olsen gave to us last year. This is her look of awe as she heard their voices reading it to her. (Although I didn't really capture the "awe" look.)
And then there was Ian...
What can we say about our little mischievious boy? He loved climbing on the boxes, in the boxes, under the boxes-- you name it. He also kept turning off the movie we were watching and taking out the DVD and carrying it around.
Yes, he was excited too. He showed me all the new things he was finding-- including the hand sanitizer. That one kept him occupied for awhile.
This Christmas should be a fun one, full of excitement and chaos. :)

Our kids were obsessed with helping put up the tree decorations too! They are at such a fun age! :)
