A Spook-tacular month!

The last few days of October were jam-packed with lots of fun Halloween activities! We started it off with a truck-or-treat in Grandma and Grandpa Buchanan's ward.

Ian was dressed as Dracula and Kirstie was Snow White.

This is the 2nd time that Kirstie and Payton have had matching costumes (and no, we didn't plan it!). Kirstie loved that they were both Snow White. She still talks about it.

Of course, there is the traditional pumpkin carving. Kirstie is very exact about how hers is carved.

While we were carving pumpkins, Ian discovered his love of suckers.

Can you guess which pumpkin belongs to who?

On Halloween, I took the kids trick-or-treating at the library and at Maceys. Later that day we went to our ward trunk-or-treat and off to Grandma and Grandpa Olsen's for more trick-or-treating. Kirstie got the hang of it very quickly and was soon asking me and Brent to wait on the sidewalk while she went to the door by herself. We definitely got our share of candy!

We also had a preschool Halloween party with Kirstie's friends. We had fun reading stories, playing games, decorating cookies, and making a witch craft. We had so much fun that Kirstie is already planning for next year!
