Woo at the Zoo

The other week, Hogle Zoo celebrated Valentine's Day with their Woo at the Zoo. Every 30 minutes or so they would decorate the an animal's "home" for Valentine's Day. You could watch as the animals were let back in and see their reaction to everything. It was so fun to see all the animals so active-- plus there were hardly any crowds!

We loved watching the gorillas and monkeys play with their valentines.

Kirstie got to sign her name on a valentine for the snow leopard.

We made it just in time to see the tigers released. It was nice to see them all walking around for a change.

Poor giraffes didn't get valentines this year.

The batteries in my camera died while we watched the elephants. The baby elephant was so cute! She was rolling around in sawdust and trumpeting and being so cute! I'm not sure I've actually ever heard an elephant before.
