Can I just tell you how much I love our zoo membership? We've really enjoyed going there this past year. Last night the zoo stayed open late, so we took a picnic dinner and met Brent up there. It's always a special time when daddy gets to come with us!
This rhino is the kids' favorite picture spot, despite the looks on their faces.
We were excited to see their new exhibit and all the animals. I think these are the seals behind Kirstie. The sea lion was also fun to see.
The polar bear was the best by far! He was swimming all around and putting on a good show!
The grizzly bears were fun too. The were playing together and swimming in the water.
We were impressed with how close up we could actually get! My sister Melissa would absolutely die!
Kirstie loves to take pictures. She's not too bad at it!
We saw monkeys eating broccoli. We tried to convince the kids that they should eat it too. Not sure it worked.
A trip to the zoo wouldn't be complete without playing at the playground.
I love their expressions-- pure delight!
And of course, the classic eggshell picture. Everyone's gotta have at least one.

Oh how I miss our zoo passes! We really need to go see the new stuff. What a fun family outing!
