Ok, so I'm new to this whole picture scanning thing. We've never had a printer that would do it and I don't know how to scan it large or how to edit it or anything. So the picture is lame, but at least, I was able to get it scanned at all!
Anyway, we took Ian to see Santa at Walmart where they were giving away free 5x7 pictures. Ian LOVES Santa! He has no hesitation sitting on his lap. Kirstie on the other hand had been telling us for days (ever since the Christmas season began) that she was NOT going to see Santa. And she was true to her word. While Ian was practically jumping out of the shopping cart to see Santa, Kirstie was in Brent's arms screaming bloody murder when we got even close to him. Santa will be coming to her preschool Christmas party on the 14th. I better give her teacher a heads up! That should be interesting. But Kirstie is very excited for him to come to our house-- when we're asleep. This year she's been very concerned about how he gets into our house and was worried that we didn't have a chimney. Brent took her outside and showed her our chimney. Now she always asks how he gets down the chimney. And she's also very concerned for neighbors who might not have a chimney. I love that she totally gets the Santa thing this year!
Ian has actually seen Santa 3 times this year already. Once at Walmart and twice at the mall. Each time there was not wait to see him! It's been fabulous. Yesterday we were at South Towne Mall for their Christmas concert series and Ian caught a glimpse of Santa below. "Ho ho ho! Please! Ho ho ho! PLEASE!!" How can I resist that? I got him out of the stroller and he ran over to Santa, and just sat on his lap having a nice conversation with him. It's so stinkin' adorable! Santa will be coming to our ward party this weekend. I can't wait to see how the kids react!
