A few weekends ago was all about Brent. On Sunday we celebrated Father's Day. The kids and I made him a big breakfast, then gave him a few gifts. The kids and I made these cute shirt and tie envelopes. They put candy bars inside and on the back wrote things that they loved about their daddy.

The next day was Brent's 35th birthday (wow, he's getting old!). As soon as he got home from work, the kids insisted he open his gift.
We made a Mountain Dew "cake" for him. Look at his matching shirt. Yep, he likes the stuff.
Brent and I went out to dinner together at Iggy's then enjoyed cake and ice cream with the kids. And yes, I do mean we enjoyed the cake! I outdid myself this year and made him a chocolate chocolate chip cake that was unbelievably good.
