We had a great long weekend celebrating the 4th of July this year! On Saturday night, we took the kids to see Riverton's fireworks. Ian sat in Brent's arms, not crying- but not smiling either. Just mesmerized but what he was seeing. (Or maybe in a daze because he was so tired!)
Kirstie loved the pre-firework fun with her cousins, but did not like the fireworks at all. Towards the end I was able to convince her to watch them, but not a day has gone by since that she hasn't told us that "Fireworkes are scaredy."
The morning of the 4th, we took the kids miniature golfing. We went bright and early, hoping to beat a crowd. After all, no one wants to be behind a family with a 3 year old golfing!

Kirstie loved it at first, but by the end just wanted to roll the ball instead if hitting it. We were fine with that because it was much quicker!

Sweet little Ian is such a mellow, content boy. He makes going places so nice because he is so easy-going!
Brent and I will have to go back again-- just the two of us so that we can keep score this time. We are way too competitive!
After mini-golf, we headed over to Sandy's festivities for a bit. We let Kirstie jump her a bit (her favorite pasttime)
