I took Kirstie to the eye doctor last week. At our last visit 6 months ago, he mentioned that doing the eye patch again was a possibility because she favors her right eye. If you watch her closely, you'll notice that it is always her left eye that turns in, so we need to strengthen it. This time the dr confirmed the need for the patch, so here we go again. Luckily it is just for 2 hours each day.
Kirstie's a good trooper about it. She likes to pick out a different design each day, which only adds to her colorful self-picked outfits. She struggles with not being able to see and asks often how much longer until she can take it off. But at least this time we don't have to worry about her tearing it off herself like she did when we did it before.
This is a typical Kirstie outfit-- bare feet, short-sleeved shirt, skirt and leggings. The more color, the better.
