Our little Ian recently turned 18 months old! Wow! When we took him in for his check-up, he weighed only 21 pounds and was just over 30 inches long. He's in the single digits for both height and weight percentile. But the doctor said he was a very smart boy because he's excelling in both his speech and his gross motor skills-- basically meaning that my biggest challenge is keeping his two feet on the ground. Ian is a real sweetheart. He has a very sensitive side. He loves to cuddle and give hugs. Playing and laughing with Kirstie is one of his favorite things to do. His other passions in life include playing with balls (he's going to be a great baseball player-- you should see him throw!), climbing everything, Elmo, and playing outside.

This handsome boy is all ready for his first day in nursery. I wasn't sure how he would react, but he loved it. He walked in, looked around and got right to playing. He didn't even notice that I left him!
He's our future ball player! Could anyone look at this picture and not think that he is the most adorable thing ever?
He loves to have his picture taken. Sometimes he'll even sit still for it! He'll always give a big grin and say, "CHEESE!"
