Be Grateful

This year I wanted to help the kids focus more on our blessings all month long.  For Family Night this past week, we talked about what gratitude means and I gave them each a Gratitude Tree.  We hung them on the wall and each day we add a leaf saying something they are grateful for that day.  The kids really love it and look forward to doing it each morning.  Here's what they are thankful for so far this month.
Kirstie: Barbies, Strawberry Shortcake, Grandma's house, Going to a friend's house to play, and having  a friend come over here and share her toys.
Ian: toys, cookies, binkies, playing outside, Kirstie (each day he wants to put cookies on the tree again.)

I'm very grateful for these two precious kids.  Although they try my patience on a daily basis, they also make me laugh and smile many times each day.  I love them so much and all that they teach me!
