Here are completed Gratitude Trees! We loved coming up with something each morning that we were grateful for and watching our tree "grow" with blessings. It was a great way to visually teach the kids about Thanksgiving and how much we have to be thankful for. Here is their completed list of blessings that they came up with (mostly on their own, sometimes with some prompting from me-- I think you can figure out which ones they did on their own!)
Kirstie is grateful for: My Little Ponies, eating turkey on Thanksgiving, mom, dad, snow, grandma's house, barbies, preschool, tv, clothes, Strawberry Shortcake, Kirstie (Ian put that on his tree and she insisted she put it too), cousins, Ian, going to a friend's house to play, watching movies with Ian, primary, friends that come over and we share with each other
Ian is grateful for: cookies (he wanted to put that on the tree every day), playing outside, milk, snow, dad, toys, mac & cheese, hot dogs and hot chocolate, Jesus, binkies, Kirstie, nursery, hugs, prayers, books, temples, house, friends.
We are very grateful for our two little sweethearts who teach us so much everyday! They are our biggest blessings!
