Our Kirstie-Girl

You never see Kirstie without a doll in her hand.  She brings one in the car everywhere we go.  When she leaves for preschool, she asks me to watch her dolls.  I'm even given instructions of what to do with them while I'm gone.  She will then ask me if I did those things (usually reading them books) and if they liked it or not.  For Christmas she got a dress for her doll that matches one that she has.  She loves being twins with her babies!

When Kirstie was 2, she got this little puppy dog doll.  She recently rediscovered it and fell in love with it.  She named the dog Makayla and treats it like a real dog.  Each meal she has to get a bowl and put food (toys) in it for her to eat.  She just loves this puppy.  Brent and I tell her to enjoy it because it's the  closest she'll come to ever having an actual puppy.  Ian, of course joined in on this puppy obsession with a little dog that he got for his birthday.  He named his dog Kimber after one the girls who babysits them.

Dress up!!

Kirstie LOVES to have her toenails painted.  Santa gave her some water-soluble nail polish for Christmas.  It's great because she can do it all herself and I don't worry because it all comes out with water.  The down side, it doesn't last too long because it all comes off with water!
