I took the kids sledding at the end of January for their first time. They LOVED it! We went after lunch before everyone got out of school and had almost the whole park to ourselves. We went to a park by my parents' house where I went sledding as a kid. It was so fun that they wanted to do it again with dad. So, one Saturday about a week later we went again. By this time the snow wasn't as fresh-- in fact it was pretty icy. But the kids still had fun. Brent took both kids down on a big tube we had. Unfortunately, on their first run down, we got a big gash in the bottom of our (new ) tube so we called it a day before more tubes got ruined. But we had fun while it lasted!
That's a big hill for a little boy to climb! We ended up either carrying him up of pulling him up the hill on his tube.
This little tube is the best thing ever! Look how comfy he looks sitting in it!
As you can see, the snow was getting a little sparse when we went! (The hill had more than this!)
