Christmas Day is Here!

It came!  Christmas morning finally came!  Brent and I were lucky because our kids didn't even get up until 8:00 or 8:30 (I can't even remember the time now).  They were patient while I got the camera ready and brushed my teeth (an absolute morning necessity).  We went downstairs-- I had the video camera all ready.  Before they even started opening presents, the video camera stopped.  Just completely stopped working.  Grrrr!  Still we got some pictures of the kids opening their presents.

Kirstie got Barbie and her sisters. a jewelry box, a princess cupcake game, a magic ice cream maker, and of course her purple doodle bear.

Ian got some tools, a tool work bench, some Thomas toys, a magic ice cream maker, and the blue garbage truck he's been asking for.

They also got an easel to share with some art supplies.
Santa also brought Despicable Me and Monsters University.  We gave MU to a few different people this year and they were so upset they we didn't have a copy.  So, Santa was nice and brought one for our family.

Mom and Dad gave the kids the 'boring' presents-- mostly clothes with a few surprises thrown in.

Cool new work beanie for Brent.

Kirstie has been dying for a smart phone.  (Brent and I don't even have one, but the 5 year old thinks she needs one.)  So Ian bought her a Barbie smart phone.  Sheer joy!

Fuzzy socks for me.

That evening it was off to the Buchanans for some food and more presents.
Ian got a cool 4-wheeler that's just like dad's.

Cute skirt and lace leggings from Kirstie's cousin!

Slippers, soap, and lotion for me!

Football and Subway card for Brent.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
