Mr. Helper

Look at that face! What a sweetheart!
Ian is our good little helper.  He often asks me if we can clean the house.  He loves to sweep, dust, mop, do laundry, wipe everything with clorox wipes, and follow daddy around cleaning whatever he's cleaning.

I gave him a clorox wipe and he laid down on the counter to clean underneath them.

What a good "helper," riding on dad's shoulders while Brent dries the kitchen floor.

But sometimes cleaning up takes FOREVER!  We had been playing puzzles.  But rather than just put the pieces in the bag, he needed to use his trucks.  The excavator would pick up the pieces and dump them in the garbage truck.  The garbage truck would then dump them into the bag.  This is how he likes to clean up toys as well.

Unloading the dishwasher is a big job for this little guy.  Good thing he has a helicopter to help!  He would put a piece of silverware in the helicopter and fly it to the drawer.  Very creative and inventive.  I just need to remember to add in more time for cleaning up!
