Resolutions

Last year we had a "2013 jar."  When something exciting happened, we'd write it down and put it in the jar. The idea was to open the jar in 2014 and read about all the great things that happened the previous year. Well, we opened the jar for FHE at the beginning of the month and read about some fun things that happened in January, February and March.  Isn't that how resolutions go-- you're good for the first little bit, but then they just kind of die off.  Well, we decided to try the jar again. Hopefully we can make it at least 4 months this year!

Each family member wrote down some resolutions and put them in the jar.  Here's what we each wrote:

Ian:
1. Learn to dress myself.
2. Learn to recognize letters and numbers.
3. Put on a helmet and play football.
Can you guess which one he came up with on his own???

Kirstie:
1. Learn to tie my shoes.
2. Be a good teacher for Ian.
3. Play the piano better.
4. Help clean up.
5. Get better at listening.
Can you guess the only one she didn't come up with on her own???

Wendy:
1. Get caught up in scrapbooking.
2. Learn how to sew/use sewing machine.
3. Make more foods from scratch.
4. Keep the house more organized.
5. Read one book per month.
6. Read the Book of Mormon.
7. Teach the kids how to clean the house.
8. Date night once a month.
9. Temple once a month.
10. Turn off technology and spend more time playing with the kids.
