Biggest Loser

This week I started a Biggest Loser contest.  I've done it a few times in the past and had great success--even winning a bit of money!  So even though I had ZERO motivation, I signed up again.  It's a good thing I have a competitive streak in me though, because now that I've started, I really want to win!!  And my kids are good motivators-- always asking me if I'm going to exercise or not that day.  And if I needed more, here is what Ian did/said the other day:  I was laying on the floor doing some crunches-- well, trying to do them since he was sitting on me.  He started poking my stomach and saying "squishy!!"  Thanks Ian.  So, for the next 6 weeks, here are the rules I have to abide by.
1. No sweets
2. No soda
3. 30 minutes exercise
4. Daily vitamin
5. 48 oz water
6. 5 servings fruit/veggies
7. No eating 2 hours before beditme
8. 7 hours of sleep

The hardest things so far have been no sweets and 5 servings fruits/veggies.  Maybe I just need to go to the store and stock up on some more healthy foods.  As far as the sweets, well it'll be good for me.  Brent and I have gotten into a bad habit of snacking on food-- ok junk-- after the kids go to bed.  And I bought way too much candy on clearance after Christmas.  So this will be good.  My goal is to go all the way until Valentine's Day with no sweets-- then allow myself some that day-- and be good again until the end of the contest. 
We'll see how things go!

I have the EXACT SAME GOAL of eating a few sweets on valentines day. How can you not! :)
