We had a fun Valentine's Day this year! Ian had a party at our house with his preschool friends. We decorated bags, played games, read books, had valentine treats and passed out valentines. The kids were so cute. They took sat in a circle and took turns giving a valentine to each kid, saying "Happy Valentine's Day" to which the kid would reply with a thank you. Over and over. It was adorable.
On Valentine's Day we had lots of heart-shaped food. I made these heart cinnamon rolls for breakfast for Brent and the kids (darn Biggest Loser competition!). For dinner I made heart shaped pizza and heart jello jigglers.
The kids and I heart attacked Brent's car. I wrote him little love notes on some hearts and taped reeses hearts on the others. The kids thought this was the best thing ever and asked if we could do it every valentine's day.
Kirstie wanted to do a special pose and have her picture taken with her dad. Notice her leg up and everything. She's such a romantic.
That night we had our traditional fondue with strawberries, bananas, pretzels and brownies! I decided it was definitely worth losing a point in my contest to join in with my family.
