Temple Open House

In September we attended the Ogden Temple Open House.  I know my kids are far from understanding how important the temple is, but we figure we need to take every opportunity to teach them-- especially when they have the chance to go inside!

It was a long drive up, and although the wait was short, by the time we got inside the temple, the kids were a little antsy.  I was walking with Kirstie and pointing out different things to her.  Finally she just told me to "Stop talking!"  I'll just pretend it was because she wanted to have silence to more fully appreciate the spirit there!  ;)  

After the temple, we drove back to Layton for lunch at Texas Road House.  We had a gift card there, but some nice people near us had two extra coupons for a free kids' meal.  Score!  I love nice people!
