I think I forgot how many pictures you take when you have a new baby! Everything is so new and so adorable and I want every moment recorded. Which means I'm just going to be even more behind on my scrapbooking, but that's ok. So be prepared for an overload of pictures in the coming months!
A lady in our ward brought dinner in the other night. She also brought little gifts for the family-- diapers for Tanner, chocolate for me and Brent, a Frozen book for Kirste and Flarp for Ian. If you haven't seen Flarp, it's gooey, silly-putty like stuff that makes farting noises when you push it back into the can. The kids felt it important to teach Tanner all about farting noises!
We gave Tanner his first bath at home the other night. The kids loved helping wash his hair-- and Tanner loved that part too!
A lot of pictures I take remind me of ones I took with Ian-- like this one wrapped up in a towel. I'll have to pull out Ian's and compare the two of them.
One of the most commonly heard phrases in our house: "Take my picture with Tanner!" Even if we don't have the camera out, they still want their picture taken. This is a VERY loved baby!
We had a special hour-long meeting at church today, rather than our regular block meetings. So we decided to send Brent to the meeting while I stayed home with the kids. You gotta love spending Sunday mornings lounging around in pjs, and watching the MoTab choir in mom and dad's room. We love lazy mornings!
Do you think we'll ever get a picture of Tanner alone? Kirstie was this way with Ian-- always had to be in the picture with him. She's read about that in their scrapbooks, so now she wants to continue that tradition with Tanner.
