Busy, Busy, Busy

December is always such a crazy month! We've been busy doing lots of different things, but I realized the other day that I haven't taken many pictures. That's so unlike me! But, here's a few of the fun things we've been up to lately:

Each Tuesday and Thursday there is a Christmas mini-concert at South Towne Mall. Kirstie and I have been to almost all of them. They feature local artists and are a lot of fun. The best one was the other day when they had VoiceMale and Jon Schmidt. VoiceMale was fabulous! I'm a huge Jon Schmidt fan, but I have to say that I was disappointed that he didn't play much Christmas music. I love his Christmas albums and wish he played more from them.

Kirstie has a lot of fun during the concerts running in and out of stores, making me chase her around. She loves music and dances to it all the time. She also loves to clap along with the audience.
I'm really disappointed that the malls don't let you take your own picture with Santa anymore. That stinks. But at least we got to see him at our Ward Christmas Party. Kirstie wasn't a fan. I hope she doesn't get coal in her stocking now!

Here we are decorating our Christmas tree-- well, one of them. We have two trees. The one upstairs is the "nice, pretty tree." Downstairs is the tree with all the random ornaments we've collected/made/were given through the years. I love this tree because it is full of memories.

Kirstie did not want to help decorate the tree that night. But now she can't keep her hands off it! She loves looking at it. She'll leave the room, then come right back in just to look at the tree. Then do that again, and again, and again...

When people come over to our house, the first thing she does is point out our tree to them.
