Chugga-Chugga-Two-Two!
Ian's turned 2!
Last Saturday we celebrated Ian's 2nd birthday!
We had a fun day opening and playing with his new presents.
He especially loved his new fire truck.
We enjoyed lunch at Burger King.
That night we celebrated with a train-themed birthday, complete with a little train engineer's outfit for him!
Ian could hardly wait to open his presents. As soon as we were done though, he was all set to eat some cake! It was almost killing him to see his cake sitting on our counter that afternoon and not be able to eat it!
He's really into trains right now, so he loved his cake!
He didn't even wait for us to finish singing before he started blowing out his candles.
He also had fun playing with his cousins. Unfortunately it was a busy day and only two of his cousins could make it.
Happy Happy Birthday to our little man! We love you so much and are grateful for all the joy and excitement you add to our family!
Oh yes-- and who could forget my special little helper. Kirstie is always insistent on helping me make anything and everything-- and of course helping with the "clean up" too.
