The End of Summer Fun

The end of summer came way too quickly this year.  We've had so much fun and it's sad to see it end for awhile.  One of our favorite things to do was to go to Seven Peaks.  I would try to take the kids once a week during the day, and then again sometime that week with Brent after dinner.  Brent and I even went with some other couples for a date night one time.  That was a lot of fun!  It was nice to get out of the kiddie pool for awhile!

Ian and Kirstie both learned to love the water.  Ian wasn't a huge fan of the life jacket, but what do you do?

Towards the end of the season we started taking Kirstie on the tube slides.  The first time she wasn't sure about it, but we kept encouraging her to go and pretty soon she was a pro!  She's already been talking about all the slides she wants to go on next summer.

My sister bought a pass also and it was always fun to have her come along with us.

Brent took Ian down the slide once.  Not sure what he thought of it.

We couldn't get Kirstie off the little slides in the kid area.  Once she discovered how fun it was to go down by herself, she would go down over and over and over...

Ian found this little area with shallow water.  It was his favorite place to play and splash around!

 I love Ian's expressions here!

The kids also discovered how fun it is to jump into the water.

We had so much fun at Seven Peaks this year and can't wait til next summer so we can go back again!
