...Especially when we get to carve pumpkins!
I love how excited my kids get about everything. It really makes the holidays so much more fun! Kirstie has been planning out what her pumpkin will look like for days now. She had it all drawn out a paper for us. She wanted hers to be a princess pumpkin.
Ian was totally enthralled with the inside of the pumpkin and with helping dad...
...well, just for a few minutes. Then he found better things to do like reading books, trying on Kirstie's shoes, playing the piano, throwing a ball on top of the fridge, and looking for his baseball bat (which we've hidden.)
Kirstie wanted to color hair on all our pumpkins.

This is the kids going out to say goodnight to our pumpkins before going to bed.
