Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to me!!
I love my kids.  I love being a mother-- especially a stay-at-home mom.   I'm so blessed to be able to spend this precious time with my kids.  And I'm grateful for a hard-working husband who helps make it possible for me to do this.  I can't imagine my life without these two little sweethearts!
Mother's Day was a great day.  Brent and the kids made me breakfast.  While it was cooking, Kirstie and Ian wanted to give me my gifts-- they couldn't wait any longer.  Kristie had made something for me at preschool. She wouldn't tell me what it was, but she did tell me that she had put her hands in paint and then put them on paper.  :)  Besides that, there was also a flower bookmark she colored with her picture on it.  Brent and the kids gave me a certificate to a day spa and a bag of mini Rolos!  Ian came home from church with a cute framed picture/magnet of him.

We stopped to see Brent's mom before heading over to my parents' house for dinner.  It was a great relaxing day!

(I don't know why Kirstie looks like she's in pain in this picture!)
