Kirstie has become quite the reader this past year. During the year, teacher started giving her books to bring home and read. With each book, we'd write down the new words she'd learn and hang them on her closet. I had no idea how large it would get! She finished all three sets of the books (26 books in each set; every book read 4 times each). Her teacher said it's very rare for a kid to finish all 3 sets-- but she did! And she understood everything she was reading. It's so fun to hear her read with expression! I took this picture on her last day of school so that she could show her teacher how much she's learned. She knows all these words, plus even more that weren't included in her reader books. I'm so proud of her and love that she loves reading so much!!
