Dance Dance Dance

I've said this before, but Kirstie's life is one, big musical.  This girl cannot stop singing and dancing.  Dinner takes forever each night because we can't get her to sit.  She's constantly getting up to dance around the kitchen.  And we can't have a conversation because she is always, always, always singing!  She sings and dances everywhere she goes.  Back in September we signed her up for an 8-week dance class through the Canyons Education program.  She loved it!  She's come home and practice and teach the rest of us dance classes.  Her favorite place was to do this in the front yard.  I'm sure our neighbors loved watching us dance around the yard!

Her teacher, Charlotte, was a very patient lady!  The first few weeks, Brent and I just laughed and laughed all through the class because the girls...well, they just weren't very good.  They kinda did their own thing and when they did follow the teacher, it wasn't quite like the teacher did it.

In October, they did a little recital for parents.  They did some cute Halloween dances and some other fun ones.  It was great to see how much Kirstie improved in just the 8 weeks that she took the class!  The teacher plans on doing another class in January, so we'll have to sign her up again!

She stands with her feet like this all the time now.

Freestyle Dancing.  Spinning and sashaying are her favorite moves.

Leaving her "recital" there were leaves everywhere!  The kids, especially Ian, could not resist!
